About IKEA

IKEA offers well-designed, functional and affordable, high-quality home furnishing, produced with care for people and the environment. There are several companies with different owners, working under the IKEA Brand, all sharing the same vision: to create a better everyday life for the many people. IKEA was founded in Sweden in 1943.

The IKEA vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people. As a humanistic, values-driven company, IKEA is committed to equality, because equality lies at the heart of human rights. IKEA believes that together with their social justice partners, co -workers, customers, and communities, we can all work to make meaningful and measurable change.

IKEA is excited to be working with PAFF on this project where all artists have a seat at the table. The theme is brought to life through the IVAR chair and INGO table from IKEA, both made from solid pine and serve as the canvas for this special initiative.

A lot of the most popular IKEA products are made of wood, and with good reason. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of the IKEAScandinavian design heritage. Like equality, sustainable practices are a significant part of the IKEA DNA. They’re committed to bold action to reduce their climate footprint in the U.S. and become a climate positive business by 2030. After meeting the goal to use wood from sustainable sources, IKEA took the next big step towards 2030 announcing a new Forest Positive Agenda. For more information on IKEA U.S., see the links below…

Each artist’s unique masterpiece will be showcased at IKEA stores across Southern California, offering visitors the opportunity to experience a diverse array of artistic expression.
